- Highly educated people, especially college educated people migrate to the United States. The other group is young people, who has very high potential to become productive citizens.
- With more immigration, it increases the labor supple, which reduces wages but also lowers consumer prices as business have less input costs.
- Businesses can also expand their production capacity as a result of having a bigger pool of workers that they can hire.
- Immigrant workers are much more educated and typically in science or engineering, which helps with growing the United States tech industry.
- Low skilled immigrant workers tend to work at manual labor, while low skilled native-born workers tend to work at retail and supervisors.
